Founded in 1991, ICK has established itself as a reputable Montessori kindergarten, while SON was born out of the need to continue serving students beyond their kindergarten years. Both institutions emphasize the importance of preparing students for their future endeavors, whether in the 8-4-4 system, British curriculum, or American systems.
At the heart of International Christian Kindergarten and SON’s mission is the goal of nurturing future leaders who are committed to serving and positively impacting the world. Through a supportive learning environment and a broad, balanced curriculum, students are encouraged to excel academically while also developing personally and spiritually.
The curriculum at ICK encompasses a wide range of subjects, including practical life skills, language development, mathematics, Bible studies, and physical education. The inclusion of activities such as dance, ballet, swimming, and Tae Kwon Do reflects a holistic approach to child development, fostering not only academic skills but also physical coordination and social interaction.
With a focus on language development through listening, speaking, and social interaction, ICK aims to prepare students for success in various educational systems, including the British and American systems. The emphasis on pre-writing and pre-reading readiness indicates a commitment to laying a strong foundation for future academic achievement.
The inclusion of diverse co-curricular activities such as dance, ballet, swimming, Tae Kwon Do, music, and art ensures that students have opportunities to explore their interests and talents beyond the traditional academic subjects.
This holistic approach to education aims to develop well-rounded individuals who are equipped with both academic knowledge and practical skills.
