Sabatia Technical and Professional College is a public technical and vocational education training (TVET) institution established under the TVET Act of 2013. Located in Sabatia Constituency, Vihiga County, the college was created as part of the government’s initiative to establish at least one TVET college in every constituency, ensuring access to quality vocational education for all.
Sabatia Technical and Vocational College offers a wide range of programs through five main departments: Liberal and Business Studies, Engineering, Computing and Informatics, Applied Sciences, and Hospitality and Institutional Management.
The college is particularly noted for its state-of-the-art training equipment in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and has been designated as a center of excellence for Computer Studies and ICT courses.
Sabatia Technical and Vocational College is situated on a five-acre piece of land, with the process of transferring title ongoing. The institution has constructed its facilities on land annexed from Lotego Primary School and Lotego Vocational Training Center. To support students, the college collaborates with the local community to provide meals and decent hostel accommodations, ensuring a conducive learning environment.
