Kaimosi Friends University (KAFU), established in 2015, began as a constituent college of Masinde Muliro University and earned full university status in 2022. Located on historic grounds once home to Kaimosi Teachers Training College, KAFU is Vihiga County’s first university, dedicated to excellence in teaching, research, innovation, and holistic societal development within a serene, forested environment.
