Nazareth Medical College, founded in 2005 by the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, is dedicated to fostering professional nursing education and promoting excellence in nursing practice. Initially offering a distance education program to upgrade enrolled nurses, the college now provides a comprehensive three-year diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing (K.R.C.H.N), which is recognized both regionally and internationally.

Nazareth Medical College offers a diverse range of programs to equip students for successful careers. The flagship program is the K.R.C.H.N diploma, which has two intakes each year in March and September. Admission requirements for this diploma include a mean grade of C Plain, with C Plain in English/Kiswahili, Biology, and either Chemistry or Mathematics/Physics (C-). Other programs include:
