At RVA, we are committed to nurturing young minds, fostering spiritual growth, and preparing students to become compassionate, responsible, and globally-minded citizens who will positively impact their communities and the world at large.
As an institution affiliated with Africa Inland Mission, RVA has a dual mission: supporting current mission endeavors while nurturing the next generation of Christian leaders and ambassadors. Our vision is to see Christ-centered churches flourishing across Africa.
Our junior high program caters to around 85 students in 7th and 8th grades. Rooted in a North American curriculum, our academic offerings encompass English, Social Studies, Math, Science, Communication and Information Technology, Bible, Physical Education, Fine Arts, Music, and Life Skills courses.
Operating on a trimester schedule, RVA’s academic year begins in August and concludes in July, with each term spanning approximately twelve weeks, followed by a one-month break.
At RVA, we believe in the holistic development of our students. Hence, we provide a range of extracurricular activities to complement their academic pursuits. Our junior high drama program, renowned concert band, and athletic teams in football (soccer), rugby, volleyball, and basketball offer students opportunities for personal growth and expression.
