Sweet Home Day Care and Nursery is a registered community-based organization dedicated to providing quality education and care for young children, particularly those from vulnerable groups. Located in Wakiso, the school serves around 150 children daily, ensuring they receive a nurturing environment that fosters holistic development. Sweet Home Day Care and Nursery stands out for its commitment to raising a healthy, responsible, and non-stigmatized generation.

Sweet Home Day Care and Nursery was founded in 2010 by Merianne and her husband David. The idea emerged when Merianne, after losing her job as a teacher to care for her family, began teaching her own children at home. As she continued this journey, she realized that many families in her community, particularly in Nansana, were unable to afford education for their children, and many parents had even refused to send them to school.

Merianne and David, with a deep sense of compassion, decided to take action. They started visiting families and offering free education to children who were most in need. This initiative grew, and today Sweet Home Day Care and Nursery continues to serve the community, ensuring that vulnerable children receive quality education and care.
