Hilton High School Mukono Academics

Hilton High School offers a comprehensive curriculum for both Ordinary (O) and Advanced (A) Levels, catering to students pursuing Arts and Sciences. At the O-Level, students study subjects including English, Mathematics, Geography, History, Christian Religious Education (CRE), Commerce, Fine Art, Luganda, Kiswahili, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Agriculture, Computer Studies, Entrepreneurship, and Vocational Studies.

At the A-Level, the curriculum includes History, Economics, Geography, Entrepreneurship Education, Divinity, Fine Art, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Foods and Nutrition, Kiswahili, Agriculture, Luganda, General Paper, ICT, and Subsidiary Mathematics. Our academic program is designed to foster critical thinking, practical skills, and academic excellence, with notable achievements such as the 2015 UACE top performer scoring 20 points in both Arts and Science subjects. Hilton High School boasts modern, well-equipped facilities designed to support academic excellence and student well-being. Our library is a cornerstone of academic success, stocked with relevant resources and recognized for contributing to achievements like the 2015 UACE top performer’s 20-point score. The computer laboratory, equipped with sufficient computers and internet services, supports hands-on learning for O-Level Computer Studies and A-Level Subsidiary ICT, promoting technological problem-solving and digital literacy. Our well-equipped science laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology facilitate practical learning, while spacious dormitories ensure a comfortable living environment for boarding students. Additional amenities include adequate classrooms, a school truck, van, and coaster for transportation, and well-maintained sports facilities to support our co-curricular programs. Hilton High School Mukono History

Founded on October 7, 2002, and commencing operations in January 2003, Hilton High School was established by Mr. and Mrs. Wadega under the guiding principles of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Starting with 230 students, the school has grown significantly to a student population of 1,170 as of December 2024. Led by Director Mr. Wadega Paul and overseen by a 15-member Board of Governors chaired by Mr. Sam Jasper Masolo, a senior officer in the Ministry of Education and Sports, Hilton High School has earned its reputation as a diamond institution. Our commitment to holistic education and academic excellence has positioned us as a leading secondary school in Uganda.
