Curriculum:

The Windsor School is to develop well-rounded and thoughtful children and prepare them to cope with a changing modern and globalized world.
The school aims to offer a unique educational journey for families across Kampala and surrounding areas.

We’ll strive to develop individual talents and interests to the full extent within our comprehensive and carefully planned approach to the national curriculum.

Our approach to study will be regularly reviewed and revised to meet the changing needs and standards for admission to higher institutions of learning.

Our campus has been recently renovated and thoroughly designed for children aged 2 – 15 years;

to provide open and purposeful learning environment that spark their curiosity, providing cutting edge hands on learning experience that encourage them to be future leaders in their fields.

Academics

For the primary school section, our academic programs are based on the Uganda National curriculum and syllabus, spread out over the three terms in the year. The basic subjects comprise of English, Mathematics, Social Studies and Science, that will be handled by our well qualified teachers based on their competence, preference and comparative advantages. School lessons begin at 7.30 am – 4.30 pm interspersed with lunch and breaks. Extra-curricular programmes also comprise a critical component of the learning programme and will be tailored to enhance learning.

We are setting up a well-stocked library that will also provide added learning opportunities for children at the school.

Our Staff

The School has attracted well qualified and experienced teachers for infant and primary classes. All our teachers are registered with the Ministry of Education. Ongoing on-job training to further shape the skills and focus of our teachers is a key area of focus for the school management.
Administrative and support staff at the school have also been carefully selected to ensure that adequate support is available to all children to enhance learning. The management of the school has also incorporated regular inspection to augment that availed by the District Education Office as a quality assurance measure
