Guiding Star Primary School was founded in 1995 by Mrs. Gertrude Namukasa Iga. The school has 367 pupils (57 boarders).
Guiding Star Primary School receives no government grants, and charges fees for tuition, books, uniforms, lunches, and boarding. Most parents are poor, however, and often fail to pay fees in full.
[related_posts]As a result, paying teachers, buying materials, and paying taxes have become heavy burdens, and the school faces expensive challenges: vocational training materials, a bus, furnishings, structures, and sporting equipment are all badly needed.
