Curriculum:

St James Secondary School is a day and boarding Secondary School Licensed and registered by Ministry of Education and sports.

The misson of the school is to promote behavior change and academic excellence in a caring environment rich with opportunities designed to meet the intellectual, social, emotion and physical needs of the students.

They nature the process of learning in each student by providing the developmentally a propriety education in paternship with parents and the education sector stakeholders.

St James Secondary School equips students with life long skills and encourage them to be productive,responsible citizens in challenging changing global society.

Background

St James s.s started in 1980 by the community with the support of Rev Jim Bbosa,St James s.s began with a number of 18 students with no classrooms currently St James has 600 students.

The school offers these subjects on O’Level and A’Level in no particular order below:

Subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, German, Islamic, Commerce, Accounts, Fine Art, Religious Education and computer science.

The school offers quite good range of both indoor and outdoor games. The Most outspoken being football, netball, volleyball, chess, Draft, music, Dance and drama

Facilities

The classrooms are spacious and well ventilated classroom blocks to enhance the learning process. The school also has flash toilets with a very good water facilities. Children are always encouraged to keep good hygiene. The school has a large compound for paytime and a field which are always kept clean and free from dangerous object that could harm the children.
