UCCT operates under the Department of Business, Technical, and Vocational Education Training (BTVET) of the Ministry of Education and Sports. The college offers programs that are accredited by the Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board (UBTEB), Certified Public Accountancy Uganda (CPAU), Busoga University (BU), and the Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT). Diploma programs include Uganda Diploma in Business Studies with specializations in Accounting, Marketing, Purchasing, Supplies & Stores Management, and Customs Clearing & Forwarding, Uganda Diploma in Hotel and Institutional Catering, Uganda Diploma in Secretarial Studies, National Diploma in Business Management, and other specialized diplomas in procurement, logistics, and accountancy.
Certificate programs range from National Certificate in Business Management, Accountancy, Secretarial Studies, and Marketing to one-year certificates in Business Studies, Hotel & Institutional Catering, Records and Information Management, Secretarial and Information Management, and Project Planning and Management. Additional weekend and evening programs, such as CPAU courses, enable working professionals to enhance their qualifications while maintaining their careers.
