KEST offers a wide array of academic programs designed to develop knowledgeable and capable Christian leaders. Its degree programs focus on pastoral studies, Christian counseling, Christian education, mission and intercultural studies, and children and youth ministry. Diploma programs cover similar areas, preparing students to take up leadership roles in local congregations, Christian organizations, and community initiatives.
In addition, KEST provides certificate and short courses ranging from one day to two weeks. These intensive programs cover practical topics relevant to both full-time ministry and marketplace professionals, including financial intelligence, biblical stewardship, effective preaching, counseling skills, communication for change, and responding to health and social challenges. This combination of theoretical knowledge and applied ministry ensures that graduates are equipped to lead with competence, compassion, and integrity.

Beyond formal academic programs, KEST emphasizes practical ministry and community engagement through its Community Engagement Center (CEC). This non-formal training model allows pastors and Christian leaders who cannot enroll in full-time programs to gain essential leadership skills and mentorship.
Students are actively involved in workshops, seminars, and outreach programs that enhance their capabilities in pastoral care, counseling, and ministry leadership. These co-curricular activities help students develop real-world experience, foster spiritual growth, and cultivate the ethical and leadership qualities necessary for effective service in churches and communities across Uganda.

KEST’s campus near Makerere University provides a supportive learning environment for both faculty and students. The campus includes lecture halls, faculty offices, and spaces designed for training, workshops, and community engagement activities.
