Westminster Theological College and Seminary Academics
The Seminary offers a strong academic foundation in biblical and theological studies with four main programs tailored to meet different levels of ministry training. Students can pursue a one-year Certificate in Theological Studies, a two-year Diploma in Theological Studies, or a three-year Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theological Studies (BTH).
Admission requirements vary depending on the program, ranging from basic English proficiency for the Certificate program to “O” and “A” level qualifications for Diploma and Bachelor’s studies respectively. Each program is designed to deepen students’ understanding of Scripture, strengthen their grasp of Reformed and evangelical theology, and prepare them for practical ministry in churches and communities.

In addition to formal study, Westminster Theological College and Seminary Uganda fosters spiritual growth and ministry readiness through discipleship, mentoring, and service opportunities. Westminster Theological College and Seminary History
Since its founding in 1996, Westminster Theological College and Seminary Uganda has grown into a center of theological excellence in the region. While it began with just a few students meeting in a church hall, today it stands as a respected institution training pastors, preachers, and leaders from different denominations and nations.
The Seminary is committed to historic Reformed and evangelical theology, contextualized for Africa, and taught by both African and international faculty. Guided by its mission and vision, the institution continues to focus on raising up Christ-centered leaders who will multiply healthy churches and bring Gospel transformation to African society.
