Mityana Agro-vet Institute Academics
Mityana Agro-vet Institute offers a range of certificate and diploma programs designed to prepare students for careers in agriculture and livestock management. Certificate-level programs include the National Certificate in Agriculture (NCA), while diploma courses include Diploma in Animal Husbandry and Diploma in Crop Husbandry.
Entry requirements for diploma courses include a Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (A’Level) with a principal pass in Biology or Agriculture, or a National Certificate in Agriculture from a recognized institution. Certificate-level courses require a Uganda Certificate of Education (O’Level) with good passes in science subjects, mathematics, and English. Upon successful completion, students are awarded nationally recognized qualifications by the Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board (UBTEB).
