Victory School Uganda, also known as the KamuKama Foundation, was founded in 2006 by Victor and Sylvia Bahati with a mission to uplift the lives of the most needy and vulnerable children in their community. Born out of firsthand experience with poverty, the founders began with 33 children and have since grown to serve 300 students, offering them a chance at a brighter future.

  • Academics

At Victory School, we believe that every moment is an opportunity to improve the world. Our school was established to provide quality education to children growing up in extreme poverty—children who might otherwise never have the chance to attend school.

With a foundation built on love, hope, and community support, our institution not only focuses on academics but also on equipping our students with essential life skills. Our journey is fueled by the passion of our founders and the support of those who share our vision of creating lasting change in Uganda.

Victory School integrates a well-rounded curriculum that goes beyond traditional academics. Our program emphasizes:

  • Core Academics: Focused on literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills that prepare our students for future academic success.

  • Life Skills Education: Lessons on health, family planning, nutrition, and practical farming skills that empower children to manage their lives and contribute positively to their communities.

  • Holistic Development: Encouraging personal growth through social, emotional, and practical learning experiences that prepare children to navigate life’s challenges.
