Kampala Kindergarten Association | KKA History
Founded in 1951, Kampala Kindergarten Association was established by a group of European parents who sought a safe and structured learning environment for their young children while they worked. Registered as a Public Trust on September 26, 1951, KKA became Uganda’s very first kindergarten and has since evolved into a multicultural learning center.
Originally exclusive to European children, the school now serves learners from diverse backgrounds, reflecting Uganda’s inclusive and global spirit. Over the decades, KKA has remained a model institution for early childhood education, combining tradition with innovation to meet the demands of modern learning.
