The Department of Open & Distance Learning (DODL) operates under the School of Distance & Lifelong Learning (SODLL) at Makerere University. Established to expand access to higher education, DODL has grown significantly in both student numbers and program offerings. It provides a flexible learning platform for students who may be unable to attend full-time, on-campus programs, enabling lifelong learning and skill development through innovative Open & Distance Learning methods.
