Kampala Institute of Science and Technology Academics

KIST primarily offers diploma programs in health-related fields, with a strong emphasis on practical and professional training. The major course currently offered is the Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Community Health, designed to prepare students for impactful roles in healthcare delivery. In addition, the institute offers a Diploma in Health Services Management and a Diploma in Health Administration, both spanning two years and approved by the National Council for Higher Education.

Admission requirements include at least one principal pass at A-Level in subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, History, or Entrepreneurship, along with two subsidiary passes in relevant subjects. Students follow curricula set by professional councils and are examined by the Uganda Allied Health Examination Board, ensuring their training meets national standards.
