City Polytechnic Academics

The academic programs at CPI are designed to prepare students for the evolving demands of the engineering and technology sectors. The curriculum covers essential principles of engineering, mathematics, and computation while incorporating practical workshops, industrial projects, and research. Programs are tailored to develop both technical proficiency and transferable skills such as communication, teamwork, and project management.

Currently, CPI offers four main study programs in Electrical and Computer Engineering: Certificate and Diploma in Telecommunications Engineering (DTE), Certificate and Diploma in Electrical Power (Systems) Engineering (DEE), Certificate and Diploma in Computer Engineering (DCE), and Certificate and Diploma in Information Technology (DIT).

Core courses include Electrical Circuits, Analog and Digital Electronics, Computer Systems and Programming, Communication Networks, Mobile Communications, Web Design, Database Systems, Power Systems Engineering, and Workshop & Industrial Practice, among others.
