Currently, KITAS is recognized by the Ministry of Education and Sports and is registered as a non-governmental organization (S. 5914/7179). The institute has received significant support from international partners such as Tools for Solidarity UK and the Investment Programme of Business, Technical, Vocational, Educational Training (IP-BTVET), which has provided staff training, learning materials, tools, and infrastructure.
