JIHS is organized into two main schools: the School of Nursing and Midwifery and the School of Clinical Officers, offering both diploma and certificate programs. The School of Nursing and Midwifery provides programs such as Diploma in General Nursing, Diploma in Midwifery, Certificate in General Nursing, Certificate in Midwifery, and extension courses in Midwifery and General Nursing.
The School of Clinical Officers, licensed by the Uganda Allied Health Examinations Board (UAHEB No. 077), offers programs including Diploma in Clinical Medicine, Diploma in Pharmacy, Diploma in Medical Records, Certificate in Dispensary, and Certificate in Medical Records. Both schools emphasize hands-on training to produce competent and skilled health workers.
Jerusalem Institute of Health Sciences (JIHS) Co-curricular
JIHS integrates practical training and experiential learning as core aspects of its programs. Students participate in hands-on sessions in health practice laboratories, clinical simulations, and real-life community health initiatives. These activities develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and professional competencies essential for healthcare delivery in Uganda and beyond.

Its mission is to produce competent and quality health professionals with a positive attitude toward healthcare delivery, achieved through mentorship, practical training, and academic rigor. The institute is fully registered with the Government of Uganda through the Ministry of Education and Sports and prides itself on nurturing the next generation of healthcare leaders.
