Programmes: Uganda Cooperative College Kigumba (UCCK) offers the following courses; Diploma in Cooperative and Business Administration, Certificate in Cooperative and Business Administration, Diploma in SACCO and Microfinance management, Certificate in SACCO and Microfinance Management, Diploma in Project Planning and entrepreneurship and a Certificate in Project Planning and Entrepreneurship.

Uganda Cooperative College Kigumba (UCCK) History

Uganda Cooperative College Kigumba (UCCK) is a government-owned tertiary institution dedicated to training and developing manpower for cooperative societies and other member-based organizations in Uganda. The college traces its origins to a training wing at Nsamizi in Mpigi District, established to meet the manpower needs of the Cooperative Development Department. Today, UCCK provides high-quality education and professional training to students across the country, with the aim of strengthening cooperative enterprises and promoting economic development.

Founded originally as a training wing at Nsamizi and later moved to Bukalasa before establishing an independent campus at Kigumba in 1974, UCCK has grown into a premier institution for cooperative education in Uganda. The college is owned and funded by the Government of Uganda and is overseen by a Governing Council appointed by the Minister of Education and Sports. UCCK also operates satellite centers in Arua, Gulu, Mbale, Mbarara, Kabale, Hoima, and Kampala to expand access to its programs nationwide.
