Nswanjere Junior Seminary Academics
At Nswanjere Junior Seminary, academic excellence is at the center of our mission. Ten of the sixteen daily working hours are dedicated to academics, which ensures that our learners receive the focus and attention required to achieve outstanding results. The Seminary conducts Beginning of Term, Mid-Term and End of Term Examinations, in addition to weekly tests and continuous assessments that are particularly rigorous for Primary Seven candidates.
Learners also benefit from revision tests, academic assemblies and structured holiday packages that contribute to overall performance. Promotion is based on cumulative results throughout the year, which encourages consistency and diligence. Our students are recognized for being self-driven learners who thrive under the guidance of a professional and committed teaching staff.
Nswanjere Junior Seminary Co-curricular
Beyond academics, the Seminary places great emphasis on character formation, physical development and spiritual growth. Sports and games are part of the weekly routine, with students actively participating in football, volleyball, basketball, badminton and a variety of indoor activities such as chess, scrabble, monopoly, drafts, ludo and snakes and ladders. The Seminary upholds the principle of a healthy mind in a healthy body and encourages teamwork, discipline and creativity through sports.
In terms of human formation, boys are taught values such as respect, honesty, responsibility, leadership, personal hygiene and etiquette, which shape them into well-rounded individuals who contribute positively to society. Spiritual growth is nurtured through daily Mass, prayers, the rosary, regular confessions, holy hours, catechism classes and devotions under movements such as the Legion of Mary, Uganda Martyrs and Xavierians.

The Seminary boasts a spacious and serene campus that enhances learning, discipline and spiritual growth. Students enjoy access to extensive sports grounds, including four football pitches, a volleyball court, a badminton court and a basketball court, as well as facilities for indoor games that enrich recreational life.
The campus is fully equipped with electricity and supported by a standby generator to ensure uninterrupted learning. The quiet and pollution-free environment provides the perfect setting for academic focus, spiritual nourishment and personal development, making Nswanjere Junior Seminary an institution where boys are nurtured holistically in body, mind and spirit.
