Bududa Primary School was established in 1934 by the Church of Uganda. Today it serves 847 students from grades 1 to 7. It has 18 teachers but only 10 classrooms. Four of the classrooms have only recently been constructed but have not yet been completed and the school is therefore facing a pressing need for more classroom space. It is also lacking a library.

Students have participated in music competitions at the regional level but a shortage of instruments and costumes, due to the lack of funds, has prevented them from competing at the higher, national level.

[related_posts]Bududa Primary School is government-aided but the amount of the Universal Primary Education (U.P.E.) grant is always insufficient to meet the needs and the school also does its own fundraising. P.O. Box 205 Mbale, Eastern Region Uganda.
