Curriculum:

Hillside High School prepares students for the Cambridge University ‘O’ and ‘A’ level examinations: The passport to any university in the world. (Hillside will handle the university application.) Some facts about Hillside High School.
Classes of 25 ensuring individual attention for each child. Well qualified and experienced British and Ugandan teachers to encourage a joy in reading.
A well balanced diet.

ACADEMICS
S.1 – S.2 STUDENTS: Students take all subjects: English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Kiswahili, Art, Physical Education, Music, Computer studies, Environmental studies, and Current affairs.
S.3 – S.4 STUDENTS: Students choose the subjects they wish to take for examination. At this stage, other subjects are added to the curriculum: Literature, Economics and Commerce.
S.5 – S.6 STUDENTS: -level choices are made from: Physics, History, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Economics, Literature, Art, Business studies and Divinity.

FACILITIES

Hillside High School has highly improved structures and facilities in form of classroom blocks, dining halls, play grounds, dormitories, shower rooms which are well maintained, gardens and a number of other well organized amenities. Fully equipped laboratories, students carry out practicals from their first year. A well-stocked library and individual class libraries. Dormitories designed to be comfortable and spacious for Boarding for boys and girls.
