Curriculum:

Kireka High School | KHS is a mixed day and Boarding school, where we believe a good educator is one with the ability to lead students to a new place where even the educator has never been. We believe there is a brilliant child locked in every student, what students lack in school is an intellectual relationship, call it conversation with the teacher, and at Kireka High School (KHS) we offer this. The responsibility of learning not only belongs to the students regardless of their age but also the teachers.

Kireka High School is one of the leading schools in Uganda, its first class campuses provides unrivaled range of environment for educational opportunities of outstanding breadth and quality. The school run as an Ordinary level and Advanced level, boys and girls school, offering both Arts and Science subjects for Advanced level, whereas the Ordinary level avails its student with equally all the government curriculum of education. The school is registered with the ministry of education and sports with a centre number.

Curriculum

Kireka High School offers a wide curriculum so as to provide a balanced education for the girls and wider opportunities in career options.

For senior 1 and 2, students study a total number of 14 subjects, all compulsory.  Senior 3 and 4 students offer a maximum number of 10 subjects 7 compulsory and 3 optional.

Facilities

Kireka High School offers excellent educational facilities which are continually being extended and developed. A successful programme of building student physical and mental health has occurred at the school over recent years.

Sports facilities include; 50 acres of playing fields, including basketball courts, all weather floodlit pitches, rugby pitches and cricket pitches.
