The land on which it was built was a generous gift from the late Stansilus Mugwanya and the school name is in the memory.

Academics

The school offers the Ugandan curriculum of education from classes primary 1-7 unlike back then when it offered just lower primary and the pupils did their upper primary at St. Savio School. The school performs exceptionally well year after year and boasts of having very successful and prominent old boys.

co- curricular activities

The pupils also participate in music dance and drama and sports to develop and nurture their talents at a tender age. Worth noting is that Mugwanya Preparatory school Kabojja won the 2014 five-day National Primary Music dance and drama festival held at National theatre geared at fighting malaria and violence in schools.

I joined the school in my Primary three (P.3) third term and it was tight for me as where I had come from was a top performer but these boys showed I had been left behind and started questioning my brilliance personally but because of free dedication of my teachers, brothers who offered their time and effort every after end of classes for the day we would either meet them in their residences to be coached as the low performers so that we achieve better results and my survival means were tested and geared up from, perhaps we need a documentary on the life we lead back in school since we were molded to survive anywhere in the world, and lastly true friendship starts there; with nothing much to share, money or grab but we all uniform wrestling to be the boys of power, of muscles and of and of brains which features in our the anthem. Forever grateful and proud to have attended mt time there and look forward for my kids to go through the system too.
