With a mission to boost the growth of God’s Kingdom through spiritual values and knowledge, the school provides “O” and “A” level education, alongside a recently established primary section, Bishop McAllister Anglican Seminary. Bishop McAllister College Kyogyera delivers a robust curriculum aligned with the Ugandan National Curriculum, catering to Primary, “O” Level, and “A” Level students. The Primary Section, Bishop McAllister Anglican Seminary, has already achieved remarkable success, with its pioneer class of 13 pupils in 2011 securing Division One results in the Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE), all but one passing with top marks. At “O” Level, subjects include Physics, Geography, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Kiswahili, Commerce, Literature in English, History, Christian Religious Education, English, Agriculture, Computer Studies, Physical Education, and Fine Art. For “A” Level, offerings include Physics, Economics, Mathematics, Geography, Entrepreneurship Education, Fine Art, Christian Religious Education, Literature in English, General Paper, History, and Kiswahili. Our student-centered approach, supported by small classes and dedicated staff, ensures personalized learning and consistent academic excellence, preparing students for university and beyond.
Bishop McAllister College Kyogyera offers a vibrant array of co-curricular activities that foster holistic development, with a standout reputation in football, having been crowned district soccer champions over six times and achieving notable success at national and international levels, including runners-up in the 2006 Copa Coca-Cola National Championship and semi-finalists in the East Africa Secondary Schools Tournament in Dar-es-Salaam. Students also engage in netball, athletics, a brass band, a dynamic Music, Dance, and Drama club, Scripture Union fellowships, and debates, promoting teamwork, creativity, and spiritual growth. These activities, rooted in Christian values, build discipline, confidence, and leadership, ensuring students thrive in diverse, competitive environments while contributing to their communities.
