Kings Way High School Academics

The school follows Uganda’s national curriculum, providing both O-Level and A-Level programs designed to prepare students for academic success and future careers. At the O-Level (S.1 to S.4), students study a broad range of subjects including English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, History, Commerce, Accounts, Entrepreneurship, Literature, French, Luganda, Christian Religious Education (CRE), Islam, Computer Studies, Agriculture, and Fine Art.

At the A-Level, students specialize in either Arts or Sciences. Science combinations include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Agriculture, alongside Subsidiary Mathematics and Computer Studies, while Arts combinations feature History, Geography, Divinity, Islam, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Literature, Luganda, French, Fine Art, and General Paper. Our teaching approach promotes critical thinking, research, and innovation in every learner.

Kings Way High School Co-curricular

At Kings Way High School, we believe that education goes beyond academics. Guided by the principle that “a healthy mind only lives in a healthy body,” we encourage our students to actively participate in sports and creative activities that enhance physical fitness and mental well-being. Students engage in indoor games such as Ludo, Draft, Snakes and Ladders, Scrabble, Chess, and Table Tennis, as well as outdoor sports like Football, Netball, Volleyball, Swimming, Badminton, Tennis, and Athletics. In addition, our Music, Dance, and Drama programs provide platforms for students to showcase their artistic talents and cultural expression. These co-curricular engagements foster teamwork, leadership, discipline, and confidence among learners.
