St. Francis Day and Boarding primary School was founded in 1987 and with a major aim of serving its surrounding community with elementary education. For over twenty-five years now, the school has continued to provide the nation with quality education while catering for all aspects (Mental, moral social and physical) for holistic child development and is committed to doing the same even in the future.

St. Francis Day and Boarding primary School is located in urban Nakawa division along Ntinda – Kiwatule where it has sprouted to being one of the achieving primary schools in terms of academics, infrastructure and quality of administrative structure and has been appreciated by many.

Religion: All religions have a place of worship and all religious programs for Christians and non-Christians are fully supported by the school.
Dormitory: The School has to main dormitories. The Boy’s dormitory is called Africa house and the Girl’s dormitory is called Nabbagereka.
Meals time table: All meals are as per this schedule. Although meals for the young ones in nursery to p3 are specially selected and they are different from those of p4-p7
