St. Theresa Kisubi Girls’ Primary School is a catholic founded school for both day and boarding pupils. It located in Wakiso District, 14 miles from Kampala, and 8km from Entebbe International Airport. Our Ordinary is the Archbishop of Kampala Archdiocese. This school was started way back in 1915 by the Sisters of the congregation of Our lady of Africa popularly known as the White Sisters. Their major objective for starting such a school was to help the girl child learn how to look after a home and some basics in Catechism. Later on, formal education was considered as an urgent need to the young girls. In 1971, the administration of the school was handed over to the African Sisters of congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Reparatrix (Ggogonya), who are still running it.
