Appleton School

About

Appleton Schools, established in 2008 by Managing Director Ms. Benedicta Kittakah, began its journey in Kilimani with just three learners. Since then, it has flourished into a vibrant educational community, now encompassing over 300 learners across two branches, including one in Ngong.

Our growth reflects our commitment to providing a safe, caring, and friendly learning environment where every student can thrive.

Aligned with our mission, Appleton Schools is dedicated to fostering holistic development in every learner. We prioritize creating well-rounded individuals equipped for further education in any setting.

Through a blend of traditional and innovative approaches, we provide relevant learning materials, incorporate technology, encourage artistic expression, and promote social skills through practical life experiences and outdoor activities.

Appleton School Academics

Academic excellence is central to our ethos, complemented by a rich array of co-curricular activities. Alongside the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC), we integrate Montessori principles to enrich students’ developmental achievements. In our playgroup and pre-primary classes, children learn through hands-on exploration, fostering a sense of accomplishment and belonging.

Our primary school curriculum, spanning from Grade 1 to Grade 6, emphasizes interactive learning experiences. Our dedicated teachers work closely with students on engaging projects and activities, fostering significant improvements in learning outcomes.

Appleton School Co-curricular

Beyond academics, Appleton Schools offers a diverse range of extracurricular activities to promote holistic development. From piano lessons to dance classes, swimming, chess, taekwondo, and scouting, we provide opportunities for students to explore their interests, build confidence, and develop essential life skills.
