The Kenya School for Integrated Medicine was founded in 2005 by Marie Magré, the visionary behind Stichting 4Kenia, with the aim of making healthcare accessible and empowering a new generation of healthcare professionals in Kenya.
The Kenya School for Integrated Medicine was born out of a personal dream of its founder, Marie Magré. After falling in love with Kenya and recognizing the need for education and healthcare, she established Stichting 4Kenia, a Dutch foundation to support underprivileged youth in Kenya. The funds raised through various initiatives in Amsterdam were initially used to build schools in Kwale County.
However, after a life-changing encounter with a sick patient during one of her visits, Marie shifted her focus towards healthcare. This led to the founding of the Kenya School for Integrated Medicine, with the mission of improving healthcare in underserved communities.
