Dinadona Preparatory School | Wakiso History

Founded in 1992, Dinadona Preparatory School began its journey in rented premises opposite the historic Kasubi Tombs. The school was warmly embraced by the community, and by the end of 1993, it had grown to a population of 72 pupils. Although it was originally established as a Kindergarten, increasing demand from parents led to the expansion of the school to include a Primary section.

This strategic decision proved highly successful, allowing the school to build a strong academic reputation and attract a diverse student population. By 1996, Dinadona Preparatory School had made remarkable progress by acquiring its own premises. Today, the school occupies nearly two acres of land in Gombe-Kitaasa, Wakiso, offering both Nursery and Primary education in a boarding environment that welcomes children from both national and international backgrounds. Over the years, the school has continued to invest in developing a stimulating and supportive learning atmosphere, nurturing the potential of every child.
