Curriculum: Uganda National Examinations Board Curriculum (UNEB)

Kabale Institute of Technology and Applied Sciences (KITAS) is a vocational and technical training institution dedicated to addressing the challenge of unemployment in Uganda. By focusing on practical, skill-based education, KITAS prepares learners to become job creators rather than job seekers.

The institute admits students with Senior Four qualifications and above, as well as holders of junior technical certificates, offering them opportunities to acquire craft certificates in a variety of disciplines. In the near future, KITAS plans to expand its programs to include advanced craft certificates, diplomas, and a range of short-term professional courses open to candidates without minimum academic qualifications.
