We offer Ordinary and Advanced levels, focusing on a broad curriculum that includes three key categories of subjects: Science, Arts, and Business. As the only vocational/community high school in the entire Kyannamukaaka Sub-county, we are dedicated to serving our community and students from across the country.
Nazarene Kamuzinda Vocational High School offers a wide range of courses in Science, Arts, and Business streams for both O’Level and A’Level students. The school emphasizes practical vocational skills alongside academic knowledge, preparing students for further education and the workforce. Students are admitted primarily from Molly and Paul Primary schools as well as neighboring schools, ensuring a steady intake of motivated learners. The curriculum is designed to support holistic development, blending academics with community-oriented initiatives and life skills. The school has a committed leadership team, with the principal holding both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree, ensuring academic guidance and strategic growth.
Although limited by resources, the school encourages student engagement in cultural, community, and musical activities. Students participate in the Pearl of Africa Children’s choir, which provides opportunities for international exposure and learning. Volunteers assist in organizing activities such as music, basic sports, and community service, enhancing students’ social and leadership skills. These extra-curricular programs are designed to develop well-rounded individuals who are responsible, ethical, and community-minded. The school nurtures creativity and teamwork despite its modest infrastructure.
Facilities at Nazarene Kamuzinda Vocational High School are modest and continue to require significant improvement. Students have access to classrooms, dormitories, and basic learning spaces, with additional support provided by volunteers. The school does not provide meals for all students, although porridge is offered by volunteers, and those who can afford pay for lunch. While the campus struggles with limited vocational resources, it is functional and serves as a safe learning environment for its students. Charity sponsorships from organizations such as the Pearl of Africa Child Care Ltd help to maintain and gradually improve the facilities.
