Sir Samuel Baker Secondary School is a prestigious boys-only boarding secondary school located in Gulu, Northern Uganda, named after the renowned British explorer, engineer, and abolitionist Sir Samuel White Baker. Situated off the Kitgum-Gulu Road, approximately 6 kilometers northeast of Gulu’s central business district, the school was officially opened in 1953 by Sir Andrew Cohen, then Governor of the Uganda Protectorate.

Over the next two decades, it established itself as one of Uganda’s premier secondary schools, excelling in academics, sports, and alumni achievements.
