Equatorial College School Ibanda, founded in 2005 by Mr. Robert Kamasaka—a retired teacher with over 20 years of service in Uganda’s education sector—is a beacon of hope for children, especially those from underprivileged families. Driven by Mr. Kamasaka’s concern for the educational barriers faced by low-income backgrounds, the school works tirelessly to improve access and quality of education in Uganda.
Through partnerships with local guardians and stakeholders, we enhance facilities and empower students to achieve their future goals. Guided by our vision to produce upright citizens equipped with skills, knowledge, and self-esteem to meet millennium challenges, and our motto “Struggles for a Bright Future,” we foster resilience, excellence, and community impact.
Both Arts and Science subjects are taught at O’ and A’ levels.The school has games and sports including football, volleyball, Netball; Clubs and Societies including Drama club, Youth Alive club, Writers club, Debating club, Scripture union.
