Cornerstone Leadership Academy (CLA) began in 1994 with a boys’ leadership school and expanded in 2004 to include a girls’ campus located between the boys’ campus and Kampala. Set on the serene grazing pastures of Ekitangaala Ranch in southern Nakasongola District, CLA aims to transform education in East Africa by developing students into future leaders. The school is a boarding institution at Advanced Level and provides education primarily for students from disadvantaged backgrounds with high potential. CLA operates on a scholarship basis, admitting the top 25 boys and 25 girls each year. The campus environment is serene, focused on learning, leadership, and personal growth.

CLA offers Advanced Level courses with subjects including History, Divinity, Economics, Geography, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computers, Kiswahili, Entrepreneurship, and General Paper. Students are expected to maintain high academic standards while also engaging in supplementary sessions on Discipleship Materials, Character Development, and Leadership Principles. The curriculum is designed to cultivate critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ethical decision-making. CLA’s scholarship program ensures that deserving students gain access to top-quality education without financial barriers.
