Kalinabiri Secondary School is a mixed Government-Aided day and boarding school located in Uganda. It was established by the Government of Uganda in 1984 with the mission of spreading equitable and accessible education across the country. The school’s motto, “Determined To Excel With Trust In God,” reflects its strong commitment to academic excellence, discipline, and faith-based values.
Kalinabiri Secondary School follows the Ugandan national curriculum, offering both O’ Level and A’ Level education. The school emphasizes hard work, discipline, and moral integrity as key ingredients for academic success. Its dedicated teaching staff ensure that learners are well-prepared for national examinations and future professional paths.
Kalinabiri Secondary School began humbly within Kalinabiri Primary School, where classes were held in a single classroom and, at times, under trees regardless of the weather. The school started with eleven pioneer students who shared a vision of building a strong educational foundation for the community.
In 1985, the late Ernest Kayanja donated 2.93 acres of land to the school, and later added another 0.89 acres, providing a permanent home for the institution. The school further acquired 0.59 acres through purchase, forming the current campus. Over time, Kalinabiri Secondary School has grown from a humble beginning to a vibrant educational center with a population of 800–1000 students spanning Ordinary and Advanced levels (S.1–S.6).
