Turkish Light Academy Facilities

The school boasts excellent modern facilities to enhance learning and living. Dormitories accommodate up to 384 students, with each hostel room housing sixteen students, providing a home-like environment. The campus includes well-equipped laboratories, a library with diverse resources and textbooks, modern sports facilities for rugby, football, volleyball, basketball, and table tennis, and a conducive learning atmosphere in a quiet neighborhood. Counseling services, well-balanced meals, and scholarships for high-performing students are available.

Turkish Light Academy History

Shortly after its establishment, Turkish Light Academy began constructing a state-of-the-art hostel block financed by the Keskin family to provide modern boarding facilities. Since then, the school has steadily grown in both student population and reputation, achieving remarkable results nationally. In 2009, the school ranked 12th overall in the Uganda National Exams Board’s results, with the best student achieving eight points in eight subjects, and an average pass rate of 87.5%. It is recognized as the best foreign-owned school in Uganda.
