Kawempe Muslim Secondary School (KMSS) is an Islamic-based institution located on Kyaddondo Hill in Kampala, Uganda, off Bombo Road. Established on February 25, 1984, the school was founded to provide quality education for the Muslim community after initial advocacy ensured the approval of a secondary school in Kampala. KMSS operates as a mixed day and boarding school and is recognized as one of the top institutions in Uganda for both academic performance and co-curricular achievements. Its motto, “Go Higher,” reflects the school’s commitment to excellence, discipline, and character development.
