For O’ Level students, the curriculum includes English, Literature in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agriculture, Home Economics, Geography, History, Commerce, C.R.E./I.R.E, languages, Principles of Accounts, Political Education, Fine Art, Music, Computer Studies, German, and Technical Drawing/Woodwork. Senior students study 14 compulsory subjects, ensuring a strong academic foundation. At A’ Level, students have a broader choice of subjects and combinations to prepare for higher education. The school emphasizes intellectual growth, critical thinking, and skills development to prepare students for the future.
Kyambogo College School Co-curricular
Kyambogo College School encourages students to engage in a wide range of co-curricular activities that promote personal development, teamwork, and leadership. Students participate in games including football, netball, volleyball, and cricket, as well as music, dance, drama, and scouting. Kyambogo College School History
Kyambogo College School started as a small institution with the aim of providing demonstration lessons for college tutors and student teachers. Over the decades, it has expanded significantly in both student population and facilities. The school became self-accounting in the early 1970s, adopted the name Kyambogo College School, and was upgraded to ‘A’ Level status in 1984. Today, it continues to serve as a center of academic excellence, offering students a structured learning environment under a government-supported system.
