                            Cavendish University Uganda (CUU) is a leading private university in Uganda, established in 2008 and licensed by the Uganda National Council for Higher Education (NCHE). The university is recognized for its modern, student-centric academic model that applies global best practices in higher education. CUU’s mission is to transform and inspire students to reach their full potential in employment, entrepreneurship, and ethical leadership.
With a strong focus on innovation and excellence, CUU has become a hub for learners from across Africa and beyond, currently hosting students from over 47 countries. Cavendish University Uganda offers a wide range of accredited academic programs across four main faculties: Business and Management, Law, Science and Technology, and Socio-Economic Sciences. Additionally, the School of Postgraduate Studies and Research provides advanced degree programs and research opportunities that address national and global development challenges. The Faculty of Business and Management equips learners with practical and analytical skills essential for success in entrepreneurship, leadership, and corporate careers. The Faculty of Law stands out as one of the top law schools in Uganda, featuring an in-built Moot Courtroom and a faculty of highly qualified professionals.
The Faculty of Science and Technology focuses on producing innovative graduates in fields such as Software Engineering, Data Science, Public Health, and Computer Science, while the Faculty of Socio-Economic Sciences nurtures professionals in diplomacy, education, communication, and social research. The School of Postgraduate Studies promotes excellence in research and academic inquiry, offering diverse master’s and postgraduate diploma programs that empower students to contribute meaningfully to society.

CUU provides an engaging and inclusive environment that encourages students to develop beyond the classroom through a variety of co-curricular and extracurricular activities. The Faculty of Law is particularly active, with student-run clubs such as the Human Rights Club, Law Society, Legal Aid Clinic, and Rule of Law Club, which provide students with networking and professional growth opportunities.

The computer rooms feature up-to-date hardware and software, providing students with access to scanners, printers, and high-speed internet for academic research and study. CUU also offers students secure online access to educational materials and communication platforms.
