Curriculum: Uganda National Examinations Board Curriculum (UNEB)

LivingStone International University (LIU) is a private, non-profit Christian university located in Mbale, Eastern Uganda. Established with the vision of transforming Africa through quality Christ-centered higher education, LIU draws its inspiration from the missionaries of the New Testament Churches of Christ, who envisioned using education as a tool to positively influence and uplift communities for Christ. The university was granted a letter of interim authority by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) in 2008 and received a provisional license in 2010, allowing it to admit students and award accredited degrees.

Founded on Christian values and a commitment to academic excellence, LIU opened its doors to its first class on January 16, 2012. Since then, it has continued to grow in both scope and impact, positioning itself as one of Uganda’s emerging centers of quality Christian higher education dedicated to raising ethical, empowered, and employable leaders for Africa and beyond.
