St. Lawrence University | SLAU History
Currently, SLAU has an enrollment of over 1,000 students, with the majority either commuting from home or staying in nearby hostels, while others reside in the university’s hostels. The institution is not only home to Ugandan students but also attracts international learners for fieldwork and research from Europe and the USA, creating a diverse and global academic community.
SLAU prides itself on producing graduates who are innovative, entrepreneurial, and ready to address the question of “what next after university.” By combining quality teaching, applied research, and community-responsive services, the university continues to stand out as a center of academic excellence in Uganda.
