Orchard International Christian School Academics

OICS follows the Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) curriculum, an individualized, Bible-based program that emphasizes character development and academic excellence. The curriculum covers the six core disciplines: Mathematics, English, Literature & Creative Writing, Science, Social Studies, and Word Building (spelling and etymology). Each student progresses through their PACEs at their own pace, fostering independence, goal-setting, and critical thinking skills.

The school operates through Learning Centers, including three Lower School Centers (Preschool, ABCs, Infants) and one Upper School Center (Juniors and Seniors). Each Learning Center is supervised and designed to provide a structured, personalized, and quiet learning environment. This integrated approach ensures seamless progression from ICCE General to Advanced levels, preparing students for college, university, and future careers.

At Orchard International Christian School, learning extends beyond the classroom. Students engage in practical, hands-on lessons in the afternoons that promote teamwork, investigations, and applied learning. Our campus is designed to provide a safe, structured, and inspiring learning environment. Each student has a designated workspace within the Learning Centers to foster independence and concentration. Facilities include well-resourced classrooms, reading and study areas, spaces for co-curricular activities, and areas for spiritual reflection. Orchard International Christian School (OICS) exists to discipline, mentor, and nurture children in a Christ-centered environment, integrating academic excellence with spiritual formation and character development. Our mission is to equip students with knowledge, integrity, and godly principles, fostering well-rounded individuals who impact society positively.

Character development is central to our ethos, with 90 character traits embedded throughout the PACEs, guiding students in friendliness, truthfulness, resourcefulness, and purposefulness. Our holistic approach ensures students grow academically, spiritually, and socially.
