City Parents School is a private nursery and primary school on Kabaka Njagala Road in Kampala, running from Pre-Primary through Primary Seven and preparing pupils for the Primary Leaving Examination under the Uganda National Curriculum. Founded in the late 1990s, the school describes itself as pairing “a demanding academic programme with genuine care,” and offers both day and boarding places, with boarding available from Upper Primary.

Under current head teacher Sekiganda Robert, the school reports more than 2,400 pupils currently enrolled, over 12,000 alumni, and 45 national awards across its history.

The school follows three stages: Pre-Primary (KG1–KG3, ages 3–5), focused on play-based foundations in curiosity and language; Lower Primary (P1–P3, ages 6–8), building formal reading, writing and numeracy; and Upper Primary (P4–P7, ages 9–12), preparing pupils academically for the PLE. A 2025 third-party performance database recorded a 47% Division One and 51% Division Two rate for the school that year.

The school’s own site describes 64 modern classrooms and modern science laboratories on a single campus built to serve both day and boarding pupils, alongside a Library & Resource Centre, Arts & Music Studios, sports fields and courts, and a Talent Development Programme covering choir, instruments, drama, dance, football, athletics, swimming, debate and coding.
