Programs such as Tailoring teach learners how to use sewing machines and create useful items like necklaces, arm bangles, and crafts from recycled materials — which are sold at the Love and Care Craft Shop in Entebbe.

The school also offers practical lessons in animal keeping, where students care for goats, cows, and chickens. Through these activities, learners develop responsibility, business sense, and environmental awareness. They gain firsthand experience in production, distribution, and basic financial management by selling products such as eggs and milk to local markets.

Entebbe Early Learning School History

Founded in 1993 by Mrs. Agnes Biryahwaho, Entebbe Early Learning School was established to provide education to orphans and children from disadvantaged backgrounds in Entebbe and surrounding communities. Deeply rooted in Christian values, the school has grown under the umbrella of Love and Care for the Child Ministries, a charitable initiative dedicated to supporting financially incapacitated children so they can access quality education.

Over the years, the school has become a beacon of hope for many children who might otherwise be denied the opportunity to learn. The school’s objective is to bring up children with a firm educational and moral foundation, instilling confidence, self-discipline, and self-respect. It focuses on the holistic development of every pupil — intellectually, emotionally, physically, and spiritually — while nurturing each child’s natural abilities in a safe and loving environment.
