Atuitui Primary School was established in 1933 by Mill Hill Missionaries. It is a government-aided, grade 1 mixed primary school.There are currently 775 students from grade 1 to grade 7, with 11 teachers and 8 classrooms.

As a government school, it relies primarily for its income on UPE (Universal Primary Education) grants which are supplemented by a little income from the Parent Teachers Association.
